In the advent of damaged goods please inform us as soon as possible in writing regarding the issue, we will then advise if we require to collect the fitting and will organise a replacement for the faulty/damaged goods. Once we are informed of the issue we will give you a returns number, please mark this on the outer box (please do not write on product boxes, if there is no outer box please write your number on a note and stick to the product box)
There will be no shipping charge for replacement goods or for collections of faulty goods
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason and wish to return unwanted goods to us please advise us within 14 days of receipt of the goods, we will be happy to refund the original price of stock items as long as it arrives to us in a saleable condition, unused, unaltered, and returned in the original manufacturer's packaging and boxed exactly as received - goods that do not meet these requirements will either incur a substantial fee or percentage off the refund or in some extreme cases we will be unable to offer a refund. We regret that postage, packing and insurance are direct costs and cannot be refunded.
You are responsible for any returned goods until they reach our warehouse, therefore we strongly advise the items being returned are packed in the same manner you received them with protective packaging such as bubble wrapping. Returned goods without any protective packaging is not sufficient and will not be refunded.
Please advise if you would like us to collect the goods or if the goods will be returned by yourself. Carriage costs for collections by ourselves will be deducted from the final refund amount.
If you need to return your goods or part of your order, you must complete our returns form online. Please ensure your order number with 'RE' (i.e. #1234RE) is clearly marked on the outer box, this number is your returns number. If you are given authorisation to return goods to DC Lighting then you are to ensure the goods arrive back within 14 days. DC Lighting will refund or re-credit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods - minus any delivery and packaging costs incurred by us.
Goods, which have to be ordered in, are classed as "non-stock items" and may be subject up to a 25% handling charge of the original invoice value before any discount and VAT. Please note, your right to return items does not apply to bespoke products made to order.
This provision does not affect your statutory rights (relating to faulty or mis-described goods or your right to cancel orders under the consumer Protection (Distance Selling) regulations, further details of which are available from your local Trading Standards Department or Citizens Advice Bureau
